Scholastic Reading Counts Now available to use at home!

• Please be sure that your flash player is updated so it will run properly.
• Click Scholastic Reading Counts
• Save this in your bookmarks.
• Click on the white Scholastic Reading Counts Tab.
• Students use their regular login (first name, initial of last name - no caps or spaces). A student named John Smith would type in "johns" and the password is (read123)
• We will have a smoothie party when all students have read 10 books and passed an SRC quiz!
• Check to see if your book has a quiz with this link Book Expert
• Monday, I will give $5 in Peacock Bucks for every SRC quiz taken, or 20 minutes read over the 3 day weekend.

Howland Hill Outdoor School

We are going to Howland Hill Outdoor School on Tuesday, October 6, by bus.  We will leave the school at 8:15 and return around 1:30.  I have the 3 chaperones needed, as the outdoor school will not allow more than 6 adults we may not have any more:(  Below is a list of things to think about when getting ready for the outdoor school.  

• Bring a waterproof jacket (it can get chilly under the trees).
• Wear sunscreen (even if it doesn’t look nice in town it can be sunny at the school).
• Wear COMFORTABLE shoes or hiking boots.
• Eat a good breakfast (we may start with a hike).
• Pack a good nutritious lunch if you did not order a school lunch. (3 ordered)
